Join clinician Mary Jane Brown and the MJB clinic team for a fun weekend of mountain trail obstacles and ranch riding horsemanship at the Hood River Saddle Club. Here you will learn the intricacies of competitive Mountain Trail\, Ranch Riding\, and improve on your current navigation skills. On the last day of the clinic\, we will have a low-key\, fun practice show. \nMary Jane Brown is the lead clinician of MJB Clinics and has been teaching horsemanship for over 40 years. She was the 2021 All-Star Trainer Challenge Champion at OHC National Mountain Trail Championships. From Mountain Trail Competitions to Ranch Horse Versatility events\, she has a wealth of information to share. Mary Jane has an encouraging and direct approach and it’s always horsemanship first. DESCRIPTION:Working equitation clinic focusing on the basics. We will focus on the “Ease of Handling” portion of WE. This is an excellent opportunity to learn\, practice and improve your approach\, maneuvering the obstacles and planning your navigation through the course. Review of rules and common causes for DQ/s. This clinic is a perfect fit for those new to WE\, Intro and Novice riders. Riders of all disciplines are welcome!\n\nFees:Clinic: $250Deposit: $50 (reserves your space)\nHaul-in: $15 per dayAuditors: $30 per person\, per dayStall: $15 per night.Dry camping: $15 per night.\n\nJoin HRSC for $75 and all haul-in/overnight fees are waivedhttps://hoodriversaddleclub.org/hrsc-membership-signup/\n\nBooking:please contact Christina McGhee 541-490-6844\nA non-refundable deposit due at time of booking.\n\n\nREGISTER AND PAY ONLINE\n\nReservation and Cancellation Policy:Spaces in the Clinic are on a first-in first-served basis\, with your spot confirmed by a non-refundable deposit\, due at time of booking. Final payment is due 3 weeks prior to the clinic date (we will send a reminder and final details/what to bring etc). If you have paid the non-refundable deposit\, but are unable to make the clinic\, you will only be refunded the deposit (less a $30 admin fee) if you are able to find a rider to replace your spot or if there is a waiting list with someone who would like to take your spot. Please call the Clinic Host immediately if you must cancel. Refunds will be made by check and mailed to you as soon as possible.
