“Meet a Horse” at the Hood River Saddle Club

11:00 Participants Get To Ride A Horse
We have horses and volunteers that will be walking horses around the arena with riders. 

12:00 Event Finishes Up
Other:
Hankie and Rocky will be available to pet and finger paint. 
There will be a raffle, the winner will be announced at the end of the event. 
There will be some bales of hay and practice heads to rope.

On August 5 at 9:30 AM, the Hood River Saddle Club is sponsoring an event where anyone can see and meet horses! Demonstrations of different equine disciplines will be held including a beautiful 4-horse-drawn carriage. With a signed release and riding helmet (available at the clubhouse, or bring your own), you may ride a horse led by a club member. It’s free for all and an added bonus is a raffle.
